Terms of use

The service

Solar Lookout is a free Telegram service that watches your solar inverters through your inverter brand's cloud and sends you a message when one stops producing during the day and another when it is back. There is no fee, no card and no ads. By using the bot you accept these terms.

What we cannot promise

Alerts depend on your inverter brand's cloud, on the internet connection of your system, on Telegram and on our server. Any of them can fail or be late, so an alert can arrive late or not at all. Solar Lookout helps you notice problems sooner; it does not replace the maintenance of your system or your installer.

The service is provided as it is, without guarantees, and we are not responsible for lost energy, damage or costs, to the extent the law allows.

Your part

Connect only accounts that are yours or that you are allowed to use. Depending on the brand, the access you send can also change settings of your system; Solar Lookout only reads and never changes anything in your account. Do not use the bot to harm other people or the service.

Changes and ending

We can change, pause or end the service, or these terms, at any time; changes to the terms are published on this page with a new date. You can stop whenever you want with /disconnect, which deletes your data.

Independence

Solar Lookout is not affiliated with Telegram or with the inverter brands it works with. Their names belong to their owners and appear here only to say what works with Solar Lookout.
